As a pilot community,we have brethern in different airlines .

I had remarked earlier, that, with the mushrooming of airlines and the resultant price wars, airlines, facing trained pilot shortage, will be tempted strongly to overload their pilots with long FDTLs and arduous rostering.

As employees, with due regard to the fact that our paychecks are coming from those employers only, pilots must do all within their means to ensure that the airlines's interests are protected to the maximum extent as possible.

At the same time, the airlines too must shoulder equal responsibility and ensure that they do not break the proverbial camel's back.

A delicate balance needs to be maintained.

it is unfortunate that many arent in a position to voice their opinions openly due to the contracts signed and as such this forum is dedicated to likeminded members who might albeit anonymously try to find a solution through interaction with others in similar circumstances
